Dave, Walt, and I are the last three that need to ship.  We also have two in the mail right now.

Dave is pretty much done and looking at shipping this week.  I am final sanding and painting this week, hoping to ship Monday.  Walt is doing me a huge favor and holding his bow for a couple days to keep the mystery alive for my victim.  Thanks again Walt, I appreciate it.

My wife has decided I must absolutely finish the basement renovation this week.  I took the week off from work and am instead pulling double shifts at home on the house and the bow   I just have one bedroom's worth of crown moulding, two bedrooms of cove moulding, one furnace vent to cut out and relocate, one closet to trim, a tongue and grrove wall to terminate with a cap, and baseboards to terminate...  I sand the bow at night once I'm released by the foreman.

I hope it survived, I had to shoehorn it in to the tube a little.

I mailed my swap bow last night. It’s due to be delivered by the 28th.

Got my trade bow about set to ship, put the seal skin arrow rest and strikeplate on.   Only need to build an extra string or two to ship with it.

The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Nice! is that a sister bow on the bench? I like a seal skin rest, there’s nothing as slick or quiet.

Yes that is the sister bow.  It was intended to be the trade bow but had streaks in glass.  Brand new glass from the company out of Salt Lake City.  Kenny M sold me some better glass (which he inspected) for the second bow.

Dave,
I bought a couple 12”x12” pieces of the seal skin about 20 years ago that I only use on special bows.

Several years ago I bought some seal skin remnants from a person who makes clothing and other objects with it. I emailed him and explained what I needed it for and he offered to send me one pound of offcuts for $25. He actually sent much more. The bag was stuffed and a lot of it was dyed. I can’t remember who it was so if I ever need more I’ll have to look around.

I usually don't put anything on the shelf or side area when it's built for someone else since it's part of the tuning process.

Got two light base coats on the bow last night. Just need to do the scribbles this morning, then final coat and cure.  Will be shipping Monday!
