Big Jims is hiring!

So, if you no someone in my area that has any archery/hunting experience and has people skills, send them our way. Computer skills would also be very helpful.
They don't have to be trad experts or even experienced in trad. I can train that, but don't want to have to explain what each and every one of the hundreds of items we stock are used for and why.

Not looking for someone for bow building.

Work with customers, be able to listen to lengthy stories and still have a smile when they get off the phone. Help with packing boxes and inventory and listing and describing used bows... This is our ultimate goal. BigJim

Alexander Traditional, not even if I could... she had her own retirement program that I was unaware of. She made more than double what I was while she worked for me... hard to believe the nice ones can be that way.

Oh boy! She was good with customers. Sounds like something a small bit illegal. I had a ex almost father law that had a secretary he always bragged on,she ended up skimming for almost twenty years.

JonCagle, the trick is to learn how to politely get off the phone in a reasonable amount of time without offending them. The phone rings here non stop.. that's good for business, but hard for productivity.

Sorry Big Jim.  I worked part-time for 7 years in an archery store in Holland, Michigan and made all the custom arrows.  Loved working with customers and teaching archery to youth and newbies, but I have the best job I've ever had right now . . . RETIREMENT!

Jim, you need to move up closer to Macon before I can report to work. Sorry, but I lived in Albany for a year and just don't like it. Anyway, I hope you get all your store issues squared away soon.
