I have widely varying taste in music, in fact I would say a like a little of every genre but a lot of only a few.

Top of the list will be Christian music but honestly, as much as I like to praise my God and Savior, Christian music is really kind of lack luster.

Past that I just bounce around by mood and skip over stuff that I find offensive.

Wow. I really misjudged you guys. I just assumed other bowyers were normal like me

Sometimes I like silence, but I've played guitar for 40 years so usually I want to hear guitar jammin tunes. Nowadays you can't trust the radio for that so I use a docking station for my Ipod. No commercials and only stuff I like. Southern rock, classic rock, hard rock, Texas blues, delta blues, old country blues... and no, that's not at all like todays 'country music'.

Classic rock , classic country and right wing talk radio which usually gets me in a bad mood, then I need to listen to Credence or something happy .

I'm like Shredd, match the music to the mood/need.

Ol' school rock like pink floyd, led zeplin, dire straits into blues, jazz and if I need to get some hard work done put on some dub step or drum and bass.

Spotify/pandora are great for finding different artists you wouldn't normally come across, I've found a few local and Australian artists I wouldn't have found on 'mainstream' music platforms and a couple I'm still trying catch a live gig for. When I met my wife I was introduced to a whole world of music I wouldn't have come across otherwise as she's a native spanish speaker.

In no particular order a quick glance at my recent playlists...

Joe Bonamassa, Kenny Wayne Shephard, Brooklyn Funk Essentials, Paul Simon, Nils Lofgren and from my time in NZ, Salmonella Dub, Trinity Roots, Black Seeds, locally Richard Perso, Bondi Cigars and Brent Lewis.

Can't stand 'country country' but there are a few I listen to that might veer into a corner of that genre  :o

Can only listen to music when doing hand work as I have hearing protection on when the power tools are in play. But man I do like turning the music on when using files and sand paper. Then it is time for Rage Against the Machine, Disturbed, Tool, Korn, Five Finger Death Punch, Metallica, Hailstorm, Bush, Seven Mary Three, Slipknot,,,,you know - stuff like that, anything loud and hard. Listen to it when I am shooting too.

Country or “classic rock”.
For you oltimers, that’s just rock.  :biglaugh:

If I could find a station that played “classic country”, that would be sweeeet.

Bluegrass, I think everybody that learned to build a bow with me has hated it, but they knew listening to it was the price of admission into my shop to build a bow.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

What ever is on the local 89-90s rock station, radio reception is poor in my shop.

Once I really liked the sound track from the movie Braveheart, strangely when I played it in my shop I would have a lot more goof ups making bows than when I played plain old rock and roll. I never understood this and tested this theory a bunch of times, it always came out the same.
