Wish I would have done this 20 yrs ago
« on: April 24, 2008, 11:54:00 AM »
Since I started shooting traditional I have experienced alot of great things. Things that I never experienced in my "wheelie days". Its amazing to me how when I go out and shoot I can "burn a hole" and hit it( 50% of the time  :banghead:  ).I dont know how it happens it just does. I try to concentrate on my spot, and get my anchor everytime and next thing I know the arrow is on its way. Wether I hit it or not well thats another issue. My groups have shrunk considerably, I dont know if my mind is getting used to it or what. I have yet to take an animal, been trying like heck to shoot a squirrel, have come as close as I can without getting one. What a blast! Some times I dont even see my arrow when its on its way, is that normal?  I just wanted to share my excitment with you all on a terrific sport we all enjoy! And to thank all that has helped in advice to make my journey fantastic.I look foward to sharing some pics with you all and some stories from this fall! Thanks again Tradgangers  :clapper:

FRASSETTOR,
Try using chartruse or white fletching then maybe yellow. There are those who say they can see red or orange fletch best but I have a very hard time with anthing but the 1st three especially when the light is low or the arrow moves through light then shadow.
