I keep hearing about core failure on glass bows or crushing, but never see anything.
Who has a fiberglass bow that has set in the limbs?
I guess there are guys who build bows that like to see some set happen. I believe from what I have read, some Hill styles are probably stressing the core more than someone looking for speed would be happy with.
I'm just trying to establish a stress limit for cores when doing designs....
measure twice, cut once, that sort of thing.
