Really last minute doe!!!

I was supposed to come home today. So, when I shot the doe yesterday, I thought that was it for this season. My wife calls me around noon and says “Hey, I won’t be home tonight till about 7:30!”

So I get to thinking; I have 2 choices here:

1) Go home and sit there by myself until she gets home.

2) Go hunt this afternoon, and see what happens!

I chose option #2:

I’m back home now. The season ends this Sunday and I won’t get back up there till Monday. So, this really was my last deer for this season. I’m kinda sad, but it’s ok because I have a javelina hunt scheduled in 9 days!

I shot her with my Primal Tech recurve.
