The only thing I can think of is being able to upload/attach Ipad/Cell phone photos directly to the post.  It is the one step I've struggled with and has prevented me from listing things more frequently.

Not sure what mobile device upload problems yer having.  In the post above, the image came right off my cell phone.

No problem, that coding and subsequent link on the PowWow board will be accomplished a bit later today.

I had issues from my Ipad.  I havn't tried uploading in a while.  But I remember trying to upload directly by attaching an image and it didn't work for me.  Then I read about re sizing but struggled to figure out how to resize on my ipad.  I looked for apps or to try and find a way from within 'photos' (the default picture storing app) and couldn't figure it out.  So I gave up.  I'll give it another go another time, it has been a while.

Make it easy to rotate pictures.  Seems like when I posted pictures in the past, if the picture was sideways, there was a way to rotate to get the picture straight.  The last time I posted an ad my picture was sideways and I couldn't find any way to rotate it.  Another member helped me out by using a photo editing software and got my picture straight but it would be nice to have an easy way to do this within the system.  This would help not only the classifieds but other threads as well.  I noticed the pictures in the Waldrop pac seat thread are sideways as well.

This in an important mod that shouldn't be tough to enact, yet it is. 

I had it running a year or so ago and then it crashed the entire forum.  A week ago I tried it yet again and once more it totally crashed the system. 

All SMF forum mods, including the "rotate images on upload" mod, are written/authored as "add ons" to the core SMF software.  The problem with these individually coded mods is that they are never fully tested with all the other hundreds of other SMF mods.  As a result, incompatibilities between these different mods can, and too often do, cause problems. 

I'm looking into installing the latest SMF forum release on our test system and maybe things will be different in the latest 2.0.18 release and auto image mod will work as it should.  I know that's not the answer we all want to hear, but it's the best I can offer right now.

For the most part, resizing attached images has been cared for by a mod that I long ago installed. 

Even with the auto image resize installed, really large images may fail because of network issues and/or browser time out issues. 

I should add, the above has nothing to do with Trad Gang software or our server.  They are network or client side issues.

Ah, just realized that categories (i.e. - the classifieds) can't be viewed as a separate entity.  In order to "jump to the classifieds" there'd need to be a separate link for each of the classified pages, ten links in all.

Now, the right hand bow classifieds has MANY times more hits and activity than any of the other classifieds boards.  Perhaps just a hot link to that specific classifieds board, direct from the PowWow board .... Terry?

Great... one someone clicks on right or left, they are "in" the classifieds.... and can can go to all the other categories from there.... by just clicking contributor classifieds.... just above the blue bar...

I'll ponder on position... maybe left on left side of screen and right in right....

I post pics directly from my iPhone. When I select a pic I gives me a choice of size to select. I’ve learned to choose medium out of small, medium , large or actual size designations to post easily. Otherwise it’s too big and won’t go through.

I was a member for a few years. Maybe sold a dozen or 2 arrows during that time frame. I joined this last year to support tradgang. Kind of looked at it as dues. Then all of a sudden I didn't have access. I asked about it and someone told me I got an email about my access expiring. Maybe so, I didn't see it in my email so I just let it slide and am no longer a member.

Not sure how but maybe you can find another way to notify rather than just cut someone off.
