Looking for a hog hunting venue in the Southeast.  Any suggestions would be helpful.
Thank you.

What state? Jerry Russell (Russell Outdoor Guide Service) is a sponsor here and guides in Georgia.

Thank you Rastaman.   Georgia, Alabama, Florida or the Carolinas would be good.

If you listen to the podcast Stickboys they take a DIY trip to South Central Georgia. Hunted WMAs. Sounded like a great time, pigs were stalked and shots were taken. The end of the podcast stated that people interest should throw a dart at a Georgia map and try the WMAs there. I wanna go!

Haha, I listened to that same podcast, know Dalton well and hunted those same WMA’s around the same time.  Definitely true that you can find hogs on just about any WMA in GA, but also pay attention to the amount of walking those guys did that weekend.  Gotta cover lots of ground, find the hogs and then slow down for a kill.

What Jeff said above is the truth.    GA WMAs are good but hogs move around a lot.    You need to be ready to cover a lot of ground to find hogs but that is the fun part.    I have always hunting private ground until this year and had a blast the couple of times that I hit local WMAs.    And if you run in to Jeff, sneak around behind him because he always seems to find hogs.

Jerry Russell was also mentioned above - great guy, excellent hunter and woodsman and if you have never been hog hunting, starting with him would be money well spent.
