Bue, I cant imagine that stabiil core, uniweft or any other glass type internal lam would make your particular design more stable. Nitty griity? weight the composite material against a maple composite and It may not be huge. I think the changes in the reverse taper and especially the longer riser(shorter working limb =less energy storage) were the culptits so maybe go a bit in the opposite direction.   I wouldn't add anything in the core except maple if that is what you used. I think you have a really good design so build more with one change at a time and see what happens to performance.

I found old pics on PB of the old design where the riser was 3/4 inch shorter and the tip section with reverse taper was 2 inches shorter. I will post pics of the old and new and you can see difference in bend. On the old one total lam thickness at end of fades was .430. It was 57 pounds at 28. The new one had .400 and came in at 56,3 pounds at 28. It just shows that small changes make a lot of difference.
