Well, got out today and didn't find any shrooms.
But I found a wild terrarium.

My wife picked up a dozen big yellows today. We walked around quite a bit, this was all we found. A few were drying out but most were prime. All in one spot low by a creek in the sun. Pretty dry here, west central Indiana.

The wife and I found four yellows out back yesterday and we had them with bacon and eggs for breakfast.
Then she went out this afternoon and spotted a patch of them further back in the bushes. She came and got me and we ended up with 18 total, mostly the big yellows.  One was as big as my hand.  :)
Smoked brisket and sauteed mushrooms in butter was our supper.

Very nice.
They just haven't got started here yet. The one in the picture above is the only one for me yet this year.  :dunno:

But it has been colder than a mother in laws kiss here.

I've only found 3 this year.
Last year I only found 2.
Hope this year isn't going to be like last year.
