Father and son got it done on their first trips out! Had been 7 years for me, and 9 for Dad, since we filled our tags!
Thought is... God just had pity on us this year!!  ...which we'll gladly accept! Ha!

I went out yesterday and heard 2 different gobblers and seen a flash of one in the thick stuff but nothing close enough to get a shot at.

Nicely done. Treestand just off the floor is a great tactic. Gongrats

I was fortunate to find three gobblers in Kansas that answered me and saw my decoys.....only one left.  First shot was 17 yards facing away, arrow went in right between the wing joints and killed the bird instantly.  Second shot was 25 yards and slightly low, but broke both hips and the bird flopped a bit, but didn't go far.  Weights of the Rios were 24lb and 21lb.  Bow is a Pathfinder 17" ILF riser and Hoyt G3 limbs @47lbs.

No photo but took a big Tom in Nebraska again this year.  This makes at least 12-15 birds I have taken
