Have you ever brought a bow out of "Semi-Retirement" and fallen in love all over again? My situation is that I have very little hunting opportunity and when I do get to go, my multiple loves make it interesting to select who comes along. Perhaps a rotation schedule is in order!

All the time. Usually I'll be down to one for fall whitetail and start again for spring turkey. As of a few weeks ago I started back with a Pronghorn (Herb). I love taking an "old" girl to the dance..

I've been dancing with my Big River 21st Century clone, but just brought out a MOAB and really like it, again!!! Like the mass weight of the Purple Heart riser. Think I'll put a new string on her.

I have a Jack Howard Gamemaster Jet that I love shooting. After a different bow broke on me I just got too gun shy to take it out anymore should something happen.

Most of the bows I have are no longer being made. I have no choice but to shoot them and treat them well.

If it was more readily replaceable I would, but since it is not I am preserving it for future archers to also enjoy.

I found that I don't go back to my recurves very often, but I do change it up between the light one piece longbows and my heavier, fuller gripped 3 piece longbows. may as well enjoy them all!

Shot my MOAB this afternoon and remembered why I like it so much. BR LB does provide a bit more horsepower, but the MOAB will always be a close backup.

I seem to do it all the time although I try to stay with one during the season.

One I always come back to is a Lil' Hoots recurve. Light, short and easy to maneuver/shoot from the ground. I've shot 3-D with it as well.

Wish I had another one.

I have a 1964 Bear Zebrawood Grizzly that shoots too damn well to keep it retired. Since the bow is as old as I am, I figure I will continue to shoot it until either one of can't go anymore.

I have 14 bows hanging in my basement-after all, variety is the spice of life! I finished my "spring gobbler bow trials," & settled on my 56" Schafer Silvertip recurve. Now, the fall "whitetail trials" will begin shortly- I shoot them all & decide which 2 will be the "go to" bows for the fall season-lots of fun for me and keeps me outta trouble!!

If I had 14 bows, I'd be in trouble. 5 is pushing it!!! 🥴 I really need to show some love to the Kota and the Grizzly. Perhaps new strings for all are in order.

Now that John and Jim are no longer making bows, I'll need to be extra careful with my Big River bows and my MOAB. Had the opportunity to talk with Jim at PBS SA Tx and he was great talking too and hearing about the MOAB development. Never have had the chance to shake John's hand, just several phone conversations about bow builds. My Big River recurve was my first custom bow circa 1996. Just put a new string on it am letting it stretch a bit. Hope to get it hunting again.

Currently, have a new string stretching on my Big River recurve and will be shooting it when I get time. Along side the MOAB that will probably have a new string, as well.
