Finally, got to throw some arrows with the Big River recurve, this is the latest bow to be dusted off.  I was pleasantly surprised with the performance of this 65#+ bow with some 675 grain arrows.

I've got two bows I bought, tuned, shot a bit, then retired them. Both Blackwidow PLX take-downs, one 65lb and the other 55lb.

Bought them when I had the money, because I know I'll not be able to shoot my 75lb PLX take-down forever.

So, those two will stay in "retirement" till I need them. Although I do very occasionally take them out and shoot a few arrows.

Just love my 75lb'er, I shoot it a lot, and I usually shoot it pretty well too.

That's my take on bow "retirement"  :goldtooth:

I have four that are shooters, but really down to two actively shooting. I occasionally shoot the other two but then realize why I like the other two best.
