I did post in Trad history also but maybe some one on here can help me out . I picked this 68 inch recurve at house sale and really would like to know who made it . Has green glass laminated limbs front and back Bow is in great shape ,put new string and rest on it going to shoot today . Had string on for a day slowly came to full draw no problems . Thanks for any help .

No guess form me on the manufacturer but that is a beautiful bow! I love the green woven glass and I own and shoot a 1957 Blackhawk Hornet with green woven glass.

Can't really say, as to make??? But, the woven glass says "oldy" (50's, maybe early 60's?)

Riser & limb tip laminations say quality!!

It looks a lot like the Saunders target recurve I inherited from my dad.
I'll have to take a better look at mine when I get home.

Sorry it took a bit to get back to you.

The bow I have is a Sanders 6 Gold Tournament model, 68” long and 42# @ 30”. Has a Sanders sticker on the top limb and the 6 Gold tournament sticker on the lower limb. Green glass and riser look the same as what you posted.

I added a couple of pictures. Not much history known on my end other than my dad had this bow since the early to mid-60s. It was actually one of the first real recurves I shot.

Definitely Sanders. I think it's a Swift, mine has a few more lams, but they varied from year to year. One of the best shooting vintage recurves I've had.

Interesting, I recall buying Saunders archery accessories in high school. At the time I had no knowledge they produced bows as well! Yours is immaculate!
