Paul Bunyan fiberglass bow gets it done
« on: May 13, 2021, 04:34:38 AM »
Finally got a shot on a decent pig with my late 1950's Paul Bunyan 100 that is around 48# at my draw. Used an old grizzly el grande broadhead.  Only went around 60 yards, and I heard it stop and gurgle some. Still gave it a few hours since I couldn't see the arrow impact.  Coyotes had started chewing a little bit,  but not terrible.

Nice porker.  Always nice to bring out and hunt with a piece of your history.

I stopped counting a while back.  Gonna guess maybe 215 with a trad bow, a little over 250 including rifle kills.

Those fiberglas bows last forever!
Still have my old Bear Green Fox from 1969!

Thanks everyone.

Good to hear from you Kathy.  Hope all is well and that you are still getting out there hunting.  I still appreciate you taking me out to your archery range back before I moved to Oklahoma.  My time in Oklahoma has run it's course, and I will be making a new change at the end of July.  They local hogs won't mind that, lol.

Way2go!
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.
