Kinda surprising
« on: May 20, 2021, 05:27:47 PM »
I’ve been shooting low 50 lbs bows for years now-except for just recently.  But when I took out my 60” Shakespeare Wonderbow, 40+ @28” I was surprised.  I think it would hold its own against about any other 40# bow.  Pretty snappy with 2016s and 125 grain heads.

Yep, I used to think I had to shoot 60+# bows.
Funny thing my 43# Longbow gets a complete pass through on a deer.

I reshaped the grip twenty years ago and got it to where it felt pretty good in hand.  Actually pretty close to my Stickflinger’s grip.

I shot my first deer with it in 1972. Mismatched arrow and all.
