Zipper foam core limbs
« on: April 27, 2008, 11:17:00 AM »
Well, I am happy to say we are now offering foam core as an option on Zipper bows.I am pretty excited with the results of the foam in our limbs.Foam shows improvements over bamboo in speed, smoothness and it is also quieter, the foam actualy feels like less draw weight than it is. Bamboo will still be standard in our bows, with foam as an upgrade.

Need a field tester? LOL

The foam does shoot nice.

My Zipper recurve is my favorite recurve.
I try others, but trade them, sooner or later. I've kept my Zipper though!
They are fine bows.

Congratulations for making another option for your customers.

Any differences between recurve and long bow limbs?  Will you be putting carbon on with the foam?

rabbitman we will have some at cloverdale to play with, and yes lefty too.
for now we have only been experimenting with recurve limbs,May is the month to play with the long bow limbs, cant do both at same time and keep up on commitments.I expect even better gains with the long bow limbs.carbon will be another option provided the gains will offset the cost of the carbon. All indications say it should.

Bill:  Just wanted to say thanks again for making me a great recurve!  It was well worth the wait, and more than I expected!
