Waiting On My New Shrew
« on: June 01, 2021, 08:50:28 PM »
On April 1st I ordered myself a 54" Classic Hunter, RH, 45#, "Autumn Gold" 2piece, with the strap-on, "shrew" bow quiver.  I am very excited about this bow!  Tim Cosgrove told me it would take sixteen weeks to arrive, so today is officially the halfway mark and I am looking forward to the "downhill side" of this build.  While I have a couple of string-follow Hill bows, I have primarily been a recurve shooter since the Nixon Administration.  This will be my first short, R/D type longbow and I hope to hunt with it this fall.  My thanks, in advance, to Tim and Ron and Henry for making this exciting new "concept-bow" possible.  I just hope the second half of this wait will be easier than the first half!

Be well, all.

Great choice and you’ll have time to get acquainted before the first hunt!

I hate the waiting! That looks like one nice bow, I think one day I will have one of those as well!

Been thinking about a Lil favorite in the autumn gold. I love Osage. Not that I need another bow.... I’m plenty happy with what I have but... drool. Hope the wait is quick.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.
