Prepping for brown bears, jet boats and bears

It’s been a long long time since I’ve posted on here, hopefully we can keep this one going.
I moved up to Alaska in October, so the the brown bears are safe until my 365 days in state are up. That said my goal this spring was to get brown bears on bait, and shoot a few black bears.
I set my first bait 2 weeks back.

She’s a champ, she’s been on hunts in Alaska Nebraska and Wyoming. I shot a Muley doe in Nebraska, stalked her with the baby in her car seat (compound kill) was also next to me on a rifle antelope.
She was also with me while my wife shot a doe in Nebraska, we all stalked it together.
She loves ice fishing though, she’s done a lot in 18 months lol.

After bait one getting hammered by brown bears, we decided to put a second bait out. We are allowed 2 per person here (running 2 baits is a lot of work). I found an area off a secondary slough that seemed promising. A pic from where I tied up my boat.

Carried in a 30 gallon drum, cabled it up, an filled it with dog food, sweet feed and cooking grease, about 150lbs in total. It took 2 trips to get it dialed.
7 days later and 1367 pictures on the game camera. Here are a few

Great thread...thanks for sharing.
I would be nervous maintaining baits with brown bears like that.

Yes, this is a great thread. I love bear hunting, I love every aspect of bear hunting so please keep on updating with your experiences.
I can’t imagine being within bow shot range of a big grizzly. Wow what a rush it must be. I have been on the ground within 12 yards of a 7.5 ft black bear and that was enough. I should have shot this one.
