Wild horse creek question
«

Picked up a new to me Wild Horse Creek Longbow earlier this year. What a great bow. Having a blast shooting it. I want to order a new string but unsure of material to use. Does anyone know if these bows are fast flight approved or should I stick with dacron? Thank you in advance for your advice. Also any recommendations on where to buy a quality string would be appreciated.

Mike and his wife are very nice people. I spent some time visiting with them at the Compton Rendezvous this year. Before I left, I put in an order for a 2 piece Condor.

They are fast flight approved by I like the dacron strings that Mike sends with the bow. Mine has not had any creep since the initial break in.

I had a blast shooting Mt Steve's WHC longbow. It was a good performer, and very light in the hand and with decent speed for the heavy arrows I was pushing through it. Just figured it was FF string.

I have 4 of Mikes longbows , from a Hawk that I bought long ago to the Destiny a few years back, you can shoot fast flight, but they come with Dacron B 50 , I have shot both and use to be a fast flight go to shooter but now use only Dacron.

I currently have a kestral. I am excitedly waiting for the Wisp I ordered. Mike is a class act who makes a great product.

I have asked Mike about it. The limb tips are reinforced to use low-stretch strings, but he prefers dacron.
