Really the event that got selfbow building really going back in the early 2000s.  Tim Baker, Dean Torges, and Jim Hamm were at the first one, just to name a few.

I think I learned more about glass bows reading Baker and Hamm on self bows than any other source.

Yessir. I used to be a regular down there, it was a lot bigger then. I met many fine people, most of which aren't on here any more, 'cept for Gifford, he still pops up here and there.

Skeaterbait - You Rang? Yep, I'll be there, Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise (more than it has already).

I think our camp will be attendance; Larry, John, Bob, and Rob, but we couldn't convince Sal to 'come on down'.

In the early years, there were a lot of folks soaking up knowledge and how to like a sponge. New regional bow meets have reduced attendance and conflicts with other shoots, like the IBO. So it's a more laid back bunch these days, heck, we're 20 plus years older. We've picked up new regulars, and lost others.

Hey Kyle, glad to hear you plan on being there. You may want to consider a rain cover for your hammock, perhaps a tent might be in order.

I’m good with any evening of the week. We can’t miss pizza night. .

I’ve upgraded my setup a little since last time. I’m not concerned with getting wet now. Though I may have to dig out the bug net this year.
