I've only read through chapter 3, but that was worth the price of admission.

If anyone is looking for a pre season read to get you reved up this is a great choice! This guy had it figured out years ago.... before all the baloney tech. Lots of nuggets in this read so far. Looking forward to another chapter tonight... or maybe 2....

Have finished this book a couple times. Bought it from Roger. Met Ryan last time visiting home this fall. Got to hold the rack from this year's buck. Truly amazing.

You can't go wrong with Roger Rothhaar's books or Gene and Barry Wensel's books.

It’s a great read. He definitely knew deer.

Have his books - signed, along with some snapshots with details written on the back of some awesome deer that Roger sent along with the books. I remember calling to order them and spending the better part of an hour talking with Roger - what a warm gentleman he was!!! He did not have to spend that time with a (then) young punk who knew next to nothing about hunting trophy deer but I was so impressed and grateful that he did. I started shooting Snuffers after our discussion and still do - until my dwindling supply is gone...
I make it a point to read his books every year or so, really enjoy the honesty and down-to-earth stories.
Enjoy, they're a treasure.

Pretty cool, Amazon has one too. It’s only $902. Least the shipping is good. Can you believe they want that for a book and have the nerve to charge shipping!!!!!

I have several hundred new or like new Snuffers of various sizes that i plan on selling later this summer or early fall on the TG classifieds. Stay tuned. I'm not sure what to charge but it will be reasonable.

I read it a couple of years ago. It is a good companion book to Roger's Pursuit of Trophy Whitetails. Roger knew how to tell a story for sure, and he knew big whitetails like nobody else.

And I am looking forward to those Snuffers going on sale. I need a few more.
