A power lam question 🤔
« on: July 17, 2021, 02:11:26 PM »
This isn't related to any ongoing project.  It just popped into my head while contemplating something else.

What if you wanted to apply a power lam to a completed bow?  Would it work if it was applied over the existing back or face of the bow?

What to use?  Glass, wood or????

I put one on the belly of a finished bow,  black glass on bow and power lam. PL was .050 x I don't remember length, tapered full length.  It worked fine, but I could see the end of the glass, so I would sand it there for a couple inches with a finer grit, like 120 ...
Stay sharp, Kenny.
