Elm Hall Shoot

Is the Elm Hall Shoot going to be as scheduled?
Restrictions or any other political nonsense?

This is from Pappy a while ago...
"Who is going to make the Stick bow shoot in ElmHall MI. It is August 6/7/8 . Great time, great folks great food and target range you won't soon forget. :) It is a can't miss for me. I have been going for about 18 years and Good Lord willing won't miss it. We will be heading up Sunday evening the week before, very relaxing and fun week. If you get there be sure and drop by camp, won't be hard to find.  :)

seems quite a few PA guys are going.

No, its on. That fruit cake Gov got her emergency powers revoked.  Huge win for Mich taxpayers. She kept them off their boats and out of their own private property.

Elm Hall is on and so is Mich Longbow Shoot as well. Think this year is the 36th in Hastings. Oldest modern shoot in nation.

Whats PA got to do with TG? Lotsa IBO and hunters at EH and Hastings but who cares were they come from as long as they pullin string

Elm Hall has a 8 target handicap range this year so you old duffers that use a walker or any other aid to walk bring your bow and shoot. If anyone needs it to shoot I'll loan you my electric scooter

Had fun shooting the ‘high and dry’ course at the shoot today with friends.  Had a fabulous time shooting the ‘handicap’ course with Ron LaClair and Greg Nicolaou this afternoon. Attendance looks a little lower this year but hopefully things will fill up as the day wears on.  Great courses and location. Have garage sale commitments for tomorrow, otherwise would have wanted to stay for another day.  JP Enterprise had some great deals on Rhinehart targets and I brought home a Woodland Elk.

Nice picture Jim, it was good to see you and David,Claude and Big John, and Thanks again for the Burgers. Man I had a great time this week relaxing, camping and shooting with you guy's from Cloverdale and the Guy's from Twin Oaks, and my special friends from Michigan. I had a wonderful time and it will be hard to wait a year to get back so we can All do it again. With some luck we will get together a couple of times before that.

Big Stripper, Good deal. How wuz weather for ya guys?

The hedge was home puttin up stands clearing two trac and makin apple cider. Early Elk opens this week in WY. Always lots of work to get done in August before the big push Sept-Jan. Still have apples to pick and stands and lanes to clear and move. Yep no time in Aug for relaxin.

Hedge we all had a great time in Michigan, You missed out.  The weather was great, but I am wondering which one of them guy's from Cloverdale poked all those arrows into the Ten Ring and made it look like they shot em in there. Didn't think them Boy's was that good of a shot, but I know they can cook Burgers. We sure did have a good time for sure and am already looking for ward to next year.

I was hoping to catch up with Wooddamon and Altitude but either they didn't make it there or we just missed each other, great shooting and seen a lot of good friends. Oh and the food wasn't to bad either.
