Fixed Crawl
« on: August 05, 2021, 01:31:37 PM »
I’m relatively new to traditional gear.  Is it harmful to shoot the one piece vintage bows with a fixed crawl?  I have several bows from the 1960’s that i like to shoot but I would rather not damage them.  Usually I shoot a three under fixed crawl and I seem to have more success shooting that way.

I make hickory self bows and I treat all my fiberglass bows like my wood bows even though fiberglass is resilient. :archer2:
Pray like Tuck and shoot like Robin.

I have been shooting my old fiberglass bows 3 under for years , with no problems . I do not think you should shoot them string walking .
