New to site and need some advice
« on: April 30, 2008, 12:17:00 PM »
Well, I'm looking to buy a recurve for hunting just about anything here in the lower 48.  I used to use a bear grizzly but the limbs had got twisted over the years.  I'm looking for a good, dependable bow around 55lbs.  I'm not sure what brands I need to look for or stay away from.  If any of you all have some good advice that would get me rollin' I'd appreciate it.

Don't worry so much about brands. Try some and then pick the one that feels good in your hand and shoots comfortably for you.

Tim is right.
Be careful of the weight, don't want to be over bowed.
