Probably my once in a lifetime harvest this past weekend on last day of archery season where I’ve hunted for years. Ten minutes apart right after daylight.

I only shoot WOOD arrows... My kid makes them, fast as I can break them!

There is a fine line between Hunting, & Sitting there looking Stupid...

46# Treadway Black Forest, Easton Legacy 500 and a 175 VPA. A 25 yd shot with a complete pass thru. He only made it 60 yds before he piled up

Guess I should add to this. This was back on September 11.
Stillwater Aberdeen, 57@29. GT Trad arrow with a 200 grain 3 blade VPA broadhead. Arrow weight around 525 grains.
I believe I've found my new favorite wild game meat. I think it has better flavor and is more tender than venison

To me, there is nothing more fulfilling than a traditional bow harvest.

I hadn’t looked at this thread in a while, lots of nice critters have been taken.  Congratulations everybody, thanks for sharing.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.

Since they were in diapers I’ve always included them when there happens to be an unlucky whitetail.  I grew up this way so I always go get them to help Dad “find” his deer and then they help with what comes after.  Making good memories!
