I got the taxidermist to remove the lower jaw from the buck I killed so I could get an idea of his age. I was guessing him 4 1/2 on the hoof before I shot him. Did I ever get a good surprise!!!! He was 6+, maybe 7-8. It’s hard to be real exact once the teeth get as worn as these were. I’m tickled pink to know he was so mature!
