Boated into an area last night to avoid having to walk through thick field edges and bean fields.  Rained most of the time but the deer were moving!
Filled another antlerless tag.
This one was taken with a Bear Polar Longbow, cedar shafts and Bear Razor head broadhead.

Congrats on all the early kills it just makes my opening day in two weeks seem that much longer. Well done to those who have posted so far.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.

Tim, it was my 3rd day sitting in the blind in the background. I use a full bodied doe decoy when their rutting. At about 10:15 this guy came in following a doe and fawn, He came in angling to my right and I hit him at about 15 yards. I was shooting a Toelke whip 53@29 and a Zwicky delta 2 blade, it went through the left shoulder and came out in the belly.. He went about 50 yards and went down.
