My smallest yet proudest buck. Shot him up in the mountain. 50# 7lakes longbow. Gold tip traditional 400 with 100grain insert and 200grain vpa single bevel. Shot about 15 yards, went 40 and tipped over. Its the size of the hunt and the smile on my wife and kids faces when I bring home backstraps!

Not a big deer, but adult doe w my uncles old bear Kodiak hunter 50lb at 28”. I draw 27.
Wapiti Tapered Cedar, Grizzly 175gr heads.
15 yard shot, deer went about 75 yards

Well done on these early kills, the hunt is important but so is the satisfaction of a well placed arrow. Congrats to all 3 so far.
The essence of the hunt for me is to enter nature and observe+ return safely occasionally with the gift of a life taken.
