Asolo Boots

I tried on a pair of Asolo TPS 520s at lunch today. Man they fit like a glove. I have a narrow heal and find it hard to get a hiking boot to fit. For $215 they better fit! Anyone have experience with these?  I had some Vasque that I returned 2 pair because of sole separation. Then I got a pair of Pronghorns that I have liked for 2 yrs. now.  I really need a second pair as a backup. I think if (when) I buy them the Pronghorns will be the backups.

    Make sure you have the salesperson help you with the fit. Then take them home and wear around the house for a couple of days but do not hit the pavement with them. If you still like them buy them or try another size. Be patient with these boots. They take a little time to break in but when they do they will mold to your feet. I have pronhorns, danner lights and for me the ASOLO are the best I have. The new danner lights I have are cheap compared to the Asolo.  I have a friend who put them through hell and they still look good. I am really satisfied and feel they are worth every penny. I would do it again in a heart beat. tom

I have a pair of Asolo's that I have had for about seven or eight years. Probably the most durable boots I have ever owned. I still wear them quite often.

I walked 130 miles with 60Lbs on my back in rocky, rooty Maine wilderness with Asolos fugitive GTX. best boots I ever had. outstanding support,but still lightweight and low to the ground. Highly recommended. Vasque are good but don't compare to these fugitive

I wanted a pair of high end boots w/o Gore Tex and got the Asolo TP 535's 3 years ago-they have earned their worth many times over in all kinds of conditions. Recently I bought a pair of Danner elk hunters, and I will tell you the Danners are nice but going to the back of the closet-I just bought a new pair of Asolo 535's; for me they are the most comfortable boot around. Good traction, tough and comfy.

I love Asolo's quality but they don't have sizes to fit my big feet.   :(

I too have a pair of Asolo Fugitive GTX Hiker. I looked and tried on hiking boots for 2 years with no success. When I tried on the Asolo it was incredible. Fits like a pair of slippers. I did a bunch of hunting/hiking last September in WY with mine and they fabulous. Even in 10" of fresh snow. They are a AAAAA+++++ boot

I would never buy a hunting boot without airbob soles.  They do wear faster, but when it comes to lateral traction, in fact over all traction I've never seen anything better.  Two sheep hunts without, 3 with.
