Hunted the west end of my beanfield last night, first deer out was the crippled buck. Too far, by 100 yards.
Then over the next couple hours, about 20 deer of various sizes, and when it was too dark to be shooting, 4 came by at 20. Didn't shoot...
Other plans this morning and possible rain this afternoon , so may be tomorrow before I get out again.
Could use one more in the freezer...

Last night I saw a dozen does and a couple bucks, no shots...
This morning I didn't feel like facing into the 15 mph wind at 19*

Slow tonite, 1 squirrel and 1 hawk. And he wasn't even chasin the squirrel.
Got word tho that the deer were moving all day so they were prob tired this evening . Thats what ya get for workin in the shop.
Will miss tomorrow morning too, the snow is so crunchy I'm thinkin they can hear me walk in from the next zip code. Also have to get to town and try to get a package sent to the proper addy.
