Got my first trad bow today
« on: May 01, 2008, 11:51:00 PM »
My new bow is complete. Terry Thornton in Brandon Ms. builds copperhead bows, and they are incredible shooters. 55# eliet 28" 58"limbs and 200fps with a 490gr arrow. I can't wait till deer season, and yes it will be my first time to hunt without training wheels.   :biglaugh:

Thats a very nice looking bow.   If it shoots half as good as it looks you in business!  Congrats and welcome to the simpler side!

Nice Bow! I don't live very far from their shop. I should swing by there some time!!

I think the woods are osage, cocabola, and zebra. I will be going to his shop today and will double check.

The Bow is actually bacote and cocabola, and I have no idea if the spelling is correct.
