Put "Lex" in there instead of "Bisch", and I don't think I'd have any real problem with it.

I do like to watch stuff from the Wensel brothers though, good fun, good ethics, and I usually learn something very useful.

Well, I can’t tell you when the last time I watched a hunting show was, and I don’t do fb,Instagram, or Twitter, so I couldn’t even tell you who the newer “celebrity “ hunters are! I am just a guy who likes to bowhunt more than just about anything else. There isn’t many things that get me more excited than seeing my fletching disappear into some critter I just shot at in just the right place!!!!

We all should be our own favorite bowhunter!  There can be and is many people we admire, and look up to.  We should respect ourselves and enjoy the hunt.

Fred Bear for sure,  but I think cuz I have watched his videos at camp every season for years now over and over and over. Also for what he has meant to the traditional community and bow hunting in general is outstanding. True class act!!

I’m with Bisch, I don’t idolize anyone. I see the contributions of many and respect them. My fav though has more to do with his personality. I met Barry Wensel at a sports show. I couldnt care less about celebrity and gave him a little ribbing. The man came right back never missing a beat. Very personable. Bet he’d be a fun guy to share a camp with. The Wensels as well as many others have def contributed as well.
