What’s everyone’s favorite? How many kills with it and what bow weight and arrow weight?

Zwickey Eskimo and No Mercy.  I have no idea how many deer they have taken for me over the past years.  Bow weights from 50 to 43 lbs. with 500 grain arrows.

Agree with above. STOS and Eclipse. Vpa 3 blade is what I’m using now…like them.

I’ve used Zwickey Delta 2 blades for 40 years or so they sharpen easily and can be mounted on weighted adapters if desired I probably have taken a little over 100 deer and pigs and one bear with a mid upper 50 lb recurve or longbow and around 600 gr arrow with that said I got some 200 gr screw-in 3 blade VPA on a trade and tried em this year  they sharpen very well are precision made I’ve killed 3 deer this year with them and the same bow / arrow combination and have been very pleased with the results and noticeably more consistent blood trails.  I can’t bring myself to spend the crazy money some of the heads cost now when some of the older heads have been working well for so long but you do want a well constructed head made of good steel

I’ve used Magnus I and Zwickey Deltas for years. Magnus are no longer made. As I’ve moved down in bow weight, now at 49#, I’ve been using and really like the Zwickey No Mercy heads.

Grizzly Kodiak
We just switched to them as a hunting group this year (four in the group). We have killed multiple deer with Zwickey Deltas, Magnus Stingers, Zwickey No Mercy, and Ace Standards. Nothing wrong with any of the previous broadheads performance on whitetails (we have not shot anything else with them). We have unanimously decided that we like the Grizzly broadheads best. The Grizzlys are tough, easy to sharpen, have busted through bone for us, and put two deer and a coyote down all within fifty yards of the spot of impact.

Shot over 100 deer with Bear razorheads another 50 or so with others to numerous to name. Lately I've using Zwickey no mercy and 2 blade Deltas. I like any head you can get sharp!

150gr German Kinetic for me. I shoot both the standard 1 1/8” wide and the XL 1 1/2” wide depending on the critter. I can’t tell you how many critters I’ve shot with them over the years, but it’s a bunch!!!

My current arrow setup is a .500 spine, 29” Easton Full Metal Jacket with a white reflective wrap, 4 - 2 1/2” white parabolic feathers, and a 75gr brass HIT insert. Total arrow weight with the 150gr point/broadhead is right at 535gr.

Switched to Eclipse a few years ago. I used Zwickey before that. Both work well on a Douglas Fir shaft.

Zwickey Delta 4 blades, have no clue how many, over hundreds of animals.

Being killing stuff since the early eighties, you pick the bow weight you pick the arrow weight, I've done it.

Single bevel grizzlies 125, 160;  185, grizzly Kodiaks 200.  And now tuffheads 190, 225, 300.  Arrow and bow weight varies depending upon what and where I’m hunting.

Ace broadheads have been my go to heads for years. I couldn't tell you how many deer I've taken with them.Best head for the money on the market.

Wensel woodsmans on cedar arrows from my 45#@29” bows have taken the majority of deer for sure. I’ve  used various 2 blades also and good results so can’t say one is better than the others. STOS, Zwickeys, Ace, grizzlies to name few. The only thing I can say for sure is I can get the 2 blades way sharper then 3 blades so am switching full time to 2 blades. Except for turkeys I’ll use them.

I prefer the VPA 3 blades, but know that any issue I have with blood trails from any heads is a product of the archer/shot placement and not the broadhead!

Every broadhead was the best that ever existed until someone lost an animal with it!

If I have to pick one it would be the Bear Razorheads (greenies). I do add a little weight to them so they weight 140 grains. Quite a few kills with them after 52 years. I shoot 60# to 65# and an arrow weight of 9gpp to 10gpp.

ACE, Ribtek, Magnus Mag, STOS and Zwickey.  Now, SNUFFER, VPA, Grizzly Instinct and all the bows listed in my signature.  Handful of deer, couple turkeys, truck loads of hogs.  Been at this game a few years.

Man I’ve bounced around some. Guess I still do. From Zwickey Eskimo and Delta, Snuffers, Stingers, Grizzly, Etc, bow types and weights might vary more, from 45 lbs when I was sick to 75lbs as a kid, now mostly between 52-64. Idk how many deer, bear but it’s prob near 200. Was over 10 years was a dozen or more a year and at it since early 80s. I never kept track but it’s up there. Actually nice to hear of longtime bowhunters. Seemed back when I was the only guy carrying a bow, than the only guy carrying a styk. Now the only guy carrying either around here.
