Proud Dad. Luke’s 2nd Trad Deer
« on: December 03, 2021, 01:50:41 PM »
Yesterday afternoon my son Luke got his 2nd deer ever deer using traditional equipment.  He killed his first when he was 10 on KeenyM lease. and he’s  been after them hard ever since. He’s had a lot of close calls but hadn’t been able to close the deal till last night. He’s extremely proud of this little button because he found this spot, hung his stand, killed the deer, and tracked the deer all on his own.  He really wanted to skin it on his own too but what can I say it’s was a school night and he is 12 years old. He has to finish his math homework.

doubleo It’s a custom bow his grandpa David F made for him.  I’ll have to refer to him on what kind of wood.  I can’t recall right now.
Sorry for the sideways pics.  Not sure how I did that.

Nothing better than that!! Great memories to be shared!!

Hunted the order day 12 yds from the tree I liked my first. Have been there in 25 years! Good times with my dad!
