How to attach riser overlays

CA glue, wood glue or epoxy? I want to add some wood overlays on the front of the handle.

Do all your overlays before rounding your riser  ;)

CA Sets to fast, so it's extremely hard to have enought pressure over the full Overlay in that Seconds.
I have done some with CA, but it's very thrilling because of the very small time window.

So Smooth on or an other Epoxy will be the best choice.

Yep, and CA is harder than EA40 thus harder to blend to the glass or bow...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Used EA40, heavy piece of industrial rubber hose. Did it while riser was still flat.
Cured at 185 for 2 hours.

That looks great with the accent stripes through all the contours.

That thing looks huge in the pics, is it heavy?

It is 17' riser. Weighs less than the riser I used as a pattern. That riser was half g10 or something similar.  I am not going to clear it yet.

I still need to go back and take some more off the grip. Will shoot it some more to make sure it is right.

I like that you left the ends bulky...  The more weight out on the ends will help to stabilize your shot...  I am more about function over form...  Looks awesome...

Shred, I have been toying with the idea of epoxying  in some brass weights and then overlay on top of them to hide them.

Not too heavy but this may be my 3D comp bow for the upcoming year.
