Thanks Ron W

Ron - I got out this afternoon with the bow you sold me a couple of months back?
Found two wood arrows among the hundreds that reside in my den.
Switched Broadheads for Blunts and hit em with a file
OFF to my blind. Hadn’t been in over a month but it’s on a funnel in a bow only urban unit.
Arrived at 3:50 Way too late but being the edge of a neighborhood I hoped to enter unnoticed
Blind was half blown over when I got there
Few adjustments
Kicked fresh leaves all around the base
Got in - got organized
4:05 I hear a deer !.?!?! In the fresh fallen leaves
By 4:15 a doe walked through at 10 yards
I didn’t shoot I just couldn’t swing with it
As I watched it continue on I see a second bigger deer
Walking slowly and I drew slowly
Just as I anchor the deer stops
Arrow GONE

I waited 30 minutes- couldn’t stand waiting- but you know you are supposed to and it looked good but best to wait a little
Walked to where I last saw the deer and almost stepped on it
10 yard shot
70 yard recovery
43# longbow bought from Ron W
Overall a great day

Ron - I love the bow. It is beautiful. It is a tac driver this thing Shoots! And it was well cared for. Appreciate You, Thanks and good hunting

Cory, Nice job, what specific bow is that and it looks like a ACE Broadhead. Can't believe the blood spot on the tree! I always root for Ron W during deer season....

Congratulations.  Ron's bows all shoot great. He knows how to tune them.  Only reason he sells or trades them is cuz he cannot possibly shoot all of his bows frequently and because trading and selling is fun. I mean who needs 30 chad Holm bows anyway.  :readit: :smileystooges:  :biglaugh:

Cory,

Well done!

Thanks for sharing.
The broadhead used, regardless of how sharp, is nowhere as important as being able to place it in the correct spot.
