I like it, if you don't want to or have nothing more to add and agree, just let the person know by simply pressing the like button.

Why does anybody care if Joe Blow likes his post are not? If you get enough comments it mean folks are interested in what you have to say. If not, they don't.

Don't know where this LIKE button came from -- some un-remarked update to the forum software, no doubt. I've never cared for it. Seems like a sop for the lazy folks who can't be bothered to actually respond to thing without actuvely taking part in a discussion.

I don't care whether you like what I write or not. but I do care whether or not you take the time to actually respond in a meaningful fashion and tell me what you like or don't like.

Strange. I can see the like sign on all other posts except on my own posts, but I can see if somebody liked my posts.

might be because I am across the Atlantic. No big deal though, I am not going to press like on my own posts anyway.

I fine these types of buttons very annoying, on this page the placement is "in your face".
