I was wondering if any bowyers take into account the increase in clamping pressure when a hose clamp system is put in the heat box?
I have seen that a starting pressure of 70psi is commonly used. That seems like a lot of pressure to me. Using the "Ideal Gas Law" if a hose clamp starts at 70psi at room temperature it will reach 80psi at 150F. Is this too high? Does anyone account for this?
I am getting ready to -you know what- and want more data.
(I also want more Stone Ruination Pale Ale but the misses will be here any minute) Is my typing slurred?
