On the list for some lighter Primal Tech limbs.  Gonna keep my eye out for a lighter (mid 40s) longbow as well.  But no real big plans.  I tend to be opportunistic though.
Well they say the best made plans of mice and men . . .
I can afford to shoot most any bow I like.  And I like Primal Tech bows.

Just dropped the hammer on an older Howatt TD, that should be here soon.  So now I finally have a TD.

I’m currently on Steve Turay’s (Northern Mist) build list and I can’t decide what I want. I do have it narrowed down to either a Classic, Shelton, Whisper or Ramer. I have previously owned a classic but have never shot or owned a reverse handle longbow and am so undecided. Help! Any suggestions or opinions would be appreciated. Thanks
Reverse handles are king.  :shaka:
I LOVE the Sprague and the Ramer!

Box with a bow was waiting for me when I got home.  Got it partially put together, this Howatt TD definitely is not a Hatfield, or a MTD.  This also is not a T/D version of the Hunter, slimmer than that.  It is slim and light.  I'll get some pics of limb, riser, bow unstrung and strung.  Next to the MTD for a comparison. WOW!!!  I'm impressed.  With @60# at my draw I think this will be my old man bow.

Finally finished one for myself. I was reluctant to post it because I feel guilty working on something for myself when I’m so far behind. But this bow has been in the works for over a year. I’d work on it an hour or two every month or so. Finally got it completed..

You shouldn't feel guilty bud.  You've had a truckload of stuff on your plate and still taking care of business.   You're doing great and that's a beautiful bow.  Congratulations.

Randy, that's at the top of the list of beautiful bows I've seen.  Wonderful work.

I wasn’t really looking for adding anymore bows to my “Stable” of bows but then this came along and I just received it yesterday afternoon. It was made year I was born 59 years old this year.  Near new condition and a weight I can handle . It’s a Herters Match Hunter with caramel  glass (not the usual mustard color) or tan as it was called.
  A few pictures of it

I received this in the mail this past Monday from Harvey Archery. It's a 60" Crowned Eagle that pulls 53#@28". The riser and back limb veneer are amboyna burl. The belly veneer is spalted bamboo and the limb core is bamboo. It has gemsbok horn overlays on the tips and back of the riser. Shoots very nice and quiet!

Those are some nice choices. I'd like a new Big Jim Thunder Child. That seems like something to try.

I have a Stalker Coyote FXT on order. Bocote limbs, Cocobolo and Bocote riser. Seriously looking at a Striker right now.
