I saw the topic and thought, "Oh no, his wife must be sick, in the hospital, in a car wreck" and is asking us all to pray for her.

Glad this is good news, and welcome to tradgang!

Happy to have you join us! My husband will probably always think himself lucky, his wife loves bows, guns, knives, primitive camping and generally being in the great outdoors.   I have to say it's great to see other women  who feel the same or are open to the possibilities.  You will quickl be in need of a 12 step program if you hang around here.   ;)  It is addicting!  But these are the best folks anywhere. Make yourself at home!

Don't listen to Killdeer.  He never post anything, never even heard of the guy.  He might not even exist.  He is for sure NOT interested in any new bows.

Hope that helps Ken!

Connie, I like golf as much as your hubby likes osage!   :bigsmyl:

Although I hated it until hubby showed me how.

But the passion of the bow is what did it for me...instead of critisize, he taught me how to shoot, and learned to be able to enjoy it without intimidation or insecurity.

I grew up in the city and was never exposed much to archery but I always had a deep desire for it.
My hubby has been the inspiration for me to enjoy with him and I am so thankful for that.

You got yourself a great one too and really think with his encouragement and those here on TG to talk with, you will definately enjoy it and before you know it, I think your wonderful hubby will be fighting you off when a new bow arrives!!

Can't wait to meet you as well would love to golf with you (if possible when we meet) and again welcome to a place where a whole family can enjoy without worry!!

Killie, I will be bringing my best purse and shoes to your campfire, I'm hoping  ;)

Zinnia,

You and Connie should think about archery golf. You shoot arrows at distant "holes" and the closest to the pin in the fewest shots wins! No walking back either, just on to the "green" to pick up your arrow for the next shot.
