Killed my first deer with a deadhead broadhead and a ben pearson hunter model 706 recurve 50 lb draw
It was a doe she jumped the bow string and I hit her in left rear leg at the white hair brown hair line. She ran
out of sight when I went to where she was standing there was blood everywhere 3 feet wide and 1/4 " deep
she went about 60 yards. I cut femoral arteries in both back legs That seems like a long time ago I was 16 and
am now 71. Never have forgotten the thrill I felt that day. I still have that broadhead.
God doesn't need me to be who he is but I need God to be who I need to be

I killed my first deer with deadhead this year on Oct 31! I was shooting a 49# Firefly Messenger with cedar arrows and deadheads!
They fly great for me and hammered her at 8 yards. Shot grazed the spine and drove down through the lungs and out the lower chest. She ran about 60 yards with a great blood trail and was done.

I have no hesitations shooting deadheads and am considering them for my Canadian black bear hunt this spring.

I would love to find some more so I have some backups!

Think I’m gonna have to pull a few off of some old arrows and get them to fly!

Let me know if they don't fly, I'll be happy to take them off your hands!

Most of the guys that killed with those heads aren't around anymore.  They sure had a big following for sure.

I hunted with them and I'm still here

I killed a bunch of deer with the big Dead Head, I called them my flying Axe's.

I was using them in the 60's before I started using a longbow. I was shooting a 55# super Kodiak and those head's were killers I wish I had taken some pictures
