Three-blade broad heads were used to take several javelina during the hunt -- both snuffers and woodsman let the air out of the little buggers pretty well.

The long trailing jobs were more a function of the heavy cover than the lack of effective cutting.

The cover is something to behold. You week-2 guys will be wise to bring pruners and small saws as well as tweezers.
Crawling through the cover to follow blood is slow and difficult -- sometimes it can be belly crawling and/or hands and knees. It can be a very slow process.

A very bright flashlight can help you see the blood in the darkness of the cover.

If you have snake chaps you will have fewer thorns and spines embedded in your hide at the end of each day.

Last, listen to Terry. He has javelina knowhow.

TG ... a crazy test and was too rough on the arrows.  Just saying that I never have had trouble with Ribtek going through whatever I shoot them at.  Not sure if the manufacture changed when they moved down under.  All I have are 190's Horsehide has all the 160's I had left.

I have thousands of arrows... no matter to me... Bring the blocks since you are driving..

I'll do my best to round up a couple.  I'll bring the Ribtek 190.

CMU (found one that wasn't doing anything) and Ribtek will be in the FJ on the ride down.  If nothing else I'll have a souvenir from LTR #2-2022.

Terry, are you planning on shooting some of your broad heads into the cinder blocks too? Wonder if they're tuff to field dress? ;)

Don't shoot your Snuffers into cinder blocks. Just a waste of a good Snuffer.  You need those long super narrow single bevel heads for cinder blocks. The ones that cost 60 bucks each. Bonus points if it's on a 30$ arrow!

The year I hunted Africa I was shooting 145 Ribtic and at the end of the hunt our PH had everyone shoot an Elephant shoulder blade. The 145 folded but that's the only time I've bent one, the only head that didn't folded was a Zwicky Delta 4 blade.

Great stuff, sir!!!.... yes,  the corrugated furrels MASSIVELY impede penetration on game.  Again, end of story.

Hot sauce --- lots and lots and lots of hot sauce. It's the only way to eat a cinder block if you kill one.
