I have no filter on mine. It goes thru the wall outside. The only time I really get anything outside is if the bin gets too full.

Been using Titebond 2 , no probs with it yet.

Notice the pc of masonite pressboard in there? I was out of the right thickness plywood to make it work so this is a scrapped together form. LOL

I just added a pc of black locust .075 to the face. My template had a void and the pattern bit bearing went in very slightly so I used bondo and still wasn't happy with it . So had a long pc of black locust in shop, sawed and sanded to .075 and put it on with contact cement.

Now feeling a bit fuzzy from fumes. May need another coat ...

The riser will reduce the reflex by 1.75"

That's where I messed up on first form, didn't study my plan enough!  :biglaugh:

James it is a 4 in. Dust deputy with a card board bin under heath. Amazing 95 percent of everything goes into it.
Kenny what riser length and forward taper. Don't think it will be to hyper.

Lookin good Kenny. My shorties use a .001 taper with no tip wedge as well. What max draw length are you looking to achieve?

I’m not sure , javaman says he has a 50” that goes 29” so I’m experimenting

50" with 29" draw may be  built without taper.

My 50" Kids bow works up to 30" without hard stacking.
If you ignore the fingerpinch.

I think you need a good amount of deflex and a short riser. Have not built a 50 yet but I am guessing a 13 in. Riser. My 13 in. Has .004 FT. A 56 in. Will go 31 and 58 in. 32
The trouble with short risers is steep belly ramps
