Well I put the bow swap bow on hold for a bit, bro is gonna turkey hunt from a blind and figured the shortie might be handy so did some shaping in it and shot it a bit and tested . Short limbs make horsepower ...

Full draw is nice but that braced profile I'm not sure of.

She's like a fun girlfriend , kinda fast but unstable...

Gonna be some pinch but I didn't really notice it.  Told John he may need to shoot 2 fingers...
Stay sharp, Kenny.

Short bows are a little finicky.

I would think that that is great arrow speed for such a short bow...    Good job Kenny...  I am with you on the looks at brace...  Maybe you can go with a little less angle with the limbs coming off the riser and if you have to add an inch to the limbs...

To my selfbow builder's eye, it looks like it's bending too much in the handle. I know the handle is deflexed giving that appearance but the limbs being mostly straight at full draw and not opening up more makes it look like that to me. To my eye, a deflexed handle bow looks best with an arch of a circle tiller. Roy usually gets a good circular tiller at full draw on his R/D bows.
This is only an aesthetics view from a selfbow builder. The numbers show good performance.

I don't think it's bending thru the handle Pat, it has glass thru belly side under the grip overlay.   I did a quick scientific check of the pics with a roll of tape  like roy does but not as techy and don't think there is difference at brace and full draw...  :biglaugh:

If it was bending thru the handle stuff would be pop in off it.
It would be cool if you put a built in lever on those tips. Just about 6 in. From the string grooves start a little kick back to about 3/4 in. I did it once by mistake. Kinda a tip wedge without the extra weight. Just stiffens that area some.

The overall shape of the full draw looks to me like a selfbow that is bending in the handle. I know it's a laminated deflexed handle. Like I said it's the aesthetic appearance of the full draw pic that just doesn't have a smooth look to me.
