Rich Mountain Wilderness/Chattahoochee Nat. Forest
« on: February 07, 2022, 07:47:51 AM »
I was wondering if anybody had and info on hunting the Rich Mountain wilderness area in Georgia? I have an opportunity to be able to hunt it and was just looking for some info. I would love to hear that there is good Hog hunting up there!!  I have googled the area but haven't found a ton of info on it. Any help is much appreciated.

Better known for bears.  Not a big wilderness area. Any real reason you're choosing Rich?

Hey Terry,
I thought it was the rich mountain wilderness and now that I take a closer look it is the Chattahoochee National Forest. I didn't pick this area I have family in Georgia and they bought some property up there and I am just looking at what hunting opportunities are in the area. So What does the Chattahoochee National Forest hold? LOL
