So I got my new to me glove in the mail today, it's the Buffalo Crossover, wasn't sure how I would like the plastic inserts in the finger stalls.  I have been shooting my 45# limbs on my Northern Mist Skanee, trying to get ready for turkey season. I was so so with it shooting with this glove, but I haven't been shooting them that great anyways.  :banghead:  So I decided instead of swapping out my limbs I decided to try my American, which shoots close to my 55# limbs I have for my Skanee.  It is a 68" bow 53#, my Skanees with the 55# limbs make a 66" bow. Short story long, I shot 3 arrows out of the American, 2nd one took the nock off the first one, and I screwed up on the 3rd shot, pic to follow.  I think I'm going to like this glove, I seem to get a really clean release with it, and have been very impressed with it, for how little I have shot it.  I am curious those of you who have shot gloves with and without the plastic inserts, what are your thoughts between them, I am going to order one without just to see for myself, would like some input before I do.

Best gloves I've ever used. I own three, not because I've worn them out, but because I sometimes "misplace" things. Emailed them last night with a question and had an answer within a half an hour. Great products, great service and great folks!

I'm partial to the kangaroo.  Best gloves out there no matter the leather type.

Considering getting a modified Kangaroo Crossover.  Waiting on feed back from another fellow trying a modified Crossover, as well.

Had an interesting shooting session tonight, my new glove without the plastic inserts is breaking in nicely after a couple applications of Montana Pitch. Was shooting with that glove and was doing ok, not like I wanted.  So I grabbed the one with the inserts, and first group was nice and tight, only shot 3 arrows as I was a little afraid of busting nocks.  Shot a couple more groups with similar results, so I switched back to the one with out inserts and was very happy with my results, same thing started smacking shafts together.  Pretty much operator error near as I can figure.     Very nice to know that I can switch back and forth between the two without any issues.

American Leathers is what I always shot when I moved off Damascus, they gave my kid a glove/ arm guard combo no charge at a show. I’ve had several and still do. They’re top notch.

Their customer service is outstanding.
They graciously built a Kangaroo Krossover to fit my large hands with long skinny fingers.
I had them refurbish that first glove after 3 years of hard use and ordered a spare while they still had some of the brown leather.

Just asked a question via their website this morning and had a answer back when I got home this afternoon.  I'll be placing an order for a modified Kangaroo Crossover in a few days.  I'll still shoot my favorite Death Adder nylon faced tab, but need a back up to the back up in my back pocket.  Probably add an arm guard to the order.

Just dropped hammer on modified Kangaroo Crossover, layer of Buffalo leather instead of plastic.  Like the Elk Big Shot as far as a glove goes, fairly confident the modified Kangaroo Crossover will be a comfortable glove.  Might even convert this tab shooter!  Big shoes to fill.

Just got home from my AT hike chunk.  AL package was here waiting, with arm guard and modified Kangaroo leather Crossover.  Also, two leather coasters thrown in.  The glove feels good, looks good, looking forward to shooting it more.

I love the look of the bison "cuff" style arm guard they make. I think Howard Hill would love to get hold of one of them.
