Okay got it just now shot a few thru it. Need to get the string fixed up then pics.
Okay when I get a little time I will U tube a few shoots. I love the way those veneers worked out. Nd the grip feels better than I thought it would. It points really good and seems pretty snappy but may need a heavier arrow to quite it a bit. 700s now maybe 600s be better.

Went up to the garage and picked up a suspicious looking piece of rain gutter downspout.  Got it opened up and everything is in one piece, and more importantly, looking beautiful!  Back in a while, time to go play!

Dave, this is quite the beautiful bow you have built.  Color combos are awesome and the grip feels great.  I can't wait to spend some time outside shooting it here in a few minutes.

Dave was also kind enough to include a bow sock and three beautifully carved game calls!  I will have to learn how to use them, but I don't think it will take long with these fine pieces.  Back in a bit!

The bow arrived this morning as I was getting ready to go out. It’s a beauty. The curly hickory goes great with the bocote and it feels good in my hand.
I’ll get some arrows through it and take a couple of pictures this afternoon.
P.S. the string is good. 👍🏻
Thank you so much!
Dave.

Nice!  How about an unstrung profile?   Later of course when you're allowed back out of the house.

With all posts finished, I officially declare the 2022 TradGang Bow Swap complete!  Great job everyone, and a huge thank you for everything you put into this.  It has been a pleasure running the swap again this year and that is 100% because of all of you.

As we close out another swap year, I would ask a favor of you.  If you have any input on how this could be run better, or things I could do better, PLEASE let me know.  You can post them here or PM me directly, either way I would like your feedback.  If it's broke and I don't know, I can't fix it!

Thanks again to all who participated, supported, and cheered us on.  I look forward to next year!

In my opinion, the only thing that the swap needs is a few more participants. Other than that, it was great.
Thank you Chris for running the swap.

I would like to volunteer as another participant for next year. I should probably post a few pictures of the bows I’ve built separately for reference of worthiness.

Thank you Chris for running the swap.
