Pac Seat Question

After years of haunting his website, I just placed an order for a Waldrop pac seat. Question I have is for those of you who use the frame to pack your meat out.  What pack are you using and how are you attaching it to the frame? Thanks in advance. I have a estimated time frame of mid may so I have some time.

I recently sold a PacSeat that I purchased used that had a pack attached. The pack had a large single compartment with additional compartments on the side. I hated it and eventually removed it. It was jusst to heavy and cumberson. Look for something light weight, sturdy, with a large opening. Some pack companies sell pack liners to help keep the inside of your pack clean. I know Bison Gear had a good one. You should be able to figure out a way to attach it. Just a thought. Good luck.

I would imagine any pack could be made to attach.  If you're wanting a meat hauler it would be on the big side.  I have the Bison Gear Lost River which is a large hip pack with shoulder straps.  That is enough for a weekend hunt, with perhaps 5-10 liter waterproof bag for extras.  Whatever doesn't fit in that set-up I lash a larger waterproof bag with extra gear, for a weeklong hunt or longer.  It works very good as a pack frame.

With a large pack you could use the pack straps from the backpack instead of the pac-seat.  They are OK with a lighter load.
